The Office of Academic Affairs is responsible for the predoctoral dental curriculum, oversees course and final examination schedules, administers the end-of-course and student evaluations and manages the academic and disciplinary due process for dental and dental hygiene students. The office additionally coordinates selective course schedules, student externship requests and all aspects of the college’s participation in the national board dental examinations.

The office also facilitates faculty development initiatives coordinated by the Faculty Development Committee and oversees the appointment, promotion and tenure process at the college. Outcomes assessment and planning and development are responsibilities of the academic affairs office including construction of the annual reports, annual publication of faculty scholarly activity and review and revision of the college’s strategic plan.
